Dr. Greg Curnew
- Born on September 7, 1959.
- Raised and educated in Montreal, graduated from McGill University in 1984
- Trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Danbury Hospital, a Yale affiliate in Danbury, Connecticut.
- An Associate Clinical Professor Internal Medicine and Cardiology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario
- A Canada Past Director of the Coronary Care Unit and a Staff Cardiologist and Internist at The Hamilton General Hospital site of Hamilton Health Sciences.
- An active member and former Director of The McMaster University Lipid Research Clinic and is a past medical advisor to the Hamilton-Wentworth Chapter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation
- He is former editor of Issues in Lipidology, Canadian Journal of Obesity, The Journal Club in Lipids and Atherosclerosis and Second Opinion.
- Currently, serves on several editorial boards of medically related publications including Parkhurst Exchange, Atherosclerosis in Primary Care and Perspectives in Cardiology, to which he is a contributor.
- Founder of the "LIFE" Project (Lifestyle Intervention Forever) which is a monthly group support meeting, advocating healthy meals and recipes, exercise, discussions, slides and seminars to educate and inform adults about healthy lifestyle changes and current health issues.
